I joined RespondCrisis in August 2023. Based on my own experiences navigating through the immigration system in the US, I could only imagine how the difficulties multiply when there is a language barrier. RespondCrisis gave me the opportunity to help people get over those barriers, by way of translating documents and coordinating with others so that help can be delivered precisely and on time. 

Outside of volunteering, I am a Linguist working on making AI learn language. I am also an avid gardener and like to spend most of my time outdoors pottering in the garden.
