After completing a Court Interpreting Program in Vancouver, BC, Canada, Patricia’s first experience as a Spanish-English interpreter was at therapy sessions for Latin American refugees seeking asylum in Canada. Such experience, although short, left a deep imprint in her heart that after 10 years of working as a Simultaneous Conference Interpreter she felt drawn to putting her skills and experience at the service of those most vulnerable. Patricia joined Respond in August of 2021 and continues to work as a volunteer translator and interpreter until this day.
