Jack Carew
Director of Academic Partnerships + Public Health
Jack Carew is a PhD student at the Yale School of Public Health, as well as the Director of Academic Partnerships and Publice Health at Respond Crisis Translation. Jack has conducted public health and language access research in Chile, Morocco, Jordan, Cameroon, and Romania. He has worked with organizations promoting global health equity including the Science, Health, Education (SHE) Center at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. His intensive studies of Arabic, Spanish, French and Mandarin Chinese paired with his on the ground global health work have led him to be passionate about working towards ensuring that global health resources and support are linguistically accessible to directly-impacted Indigenous and marginalized language communities around the world.
