Dafnes Aly

Portuguese Team Co-Lead

Dafnes Aly is an interpreter with a degree in sociology. She interprets meetings, interviews and multicultural gatherings specializing in the fields of human rights and social sciences. Passionate about languages and learning about new cultures, she first started to work as an interpreter at feminist events in 2020. It was an opportunity to spread knowledge and to strengthen the movement internationally. This led to further opportunities with language justice like being a translator and interpreter for Respond. Today she is a Portuguese Team Co-Lead, a certified interpreter and a member of the Brazilian Association of Translators and Interpreters. As well as her native Portuguese, she works with both English and Spanish.
