Climate Cardinals UN Child's Rights Report

Translating UNICEF Climate Change and Child’s Rights Report into 7 Languages

Climate Cardinals, a partner of Respond’s since the summer of 2020, is an international youth-led nonprofit working to make the climate movement more accessible to those who don’t speak English in order to educate and empower a diverse coalition of people to tackle the climate crisis.

Climate Cardinals is working with UNICEF to write a new report that outlines how the climate crisis is a child rights crisisis-child-rights-crisis. Our teams at Respond partnered with Climate Cardinals and the UN to translate the summary into Portuguese, Swahili, Yoruba, Somali, Igbo, Lingala, and Hausa!

We are grateful to be able to put our language skills to work making the fight for climate justice more linguistically and culturally accessible! And always grateful to all of the amazing translators, proofreaders, and project managers (in addition to our wonderful partners at Climate Cardinals) for all of their work on this project!
