Respond's first project with Transgender Law Center

Respond’s Spanish Team recently completed an approximately 60-page translation as part of a new partnership with the Transgender Law Center, the largest national trans-led organization advocating self-determination for all people.

TLC protects and advances the rights of transgender and gender non-conforming people across the country with their advocacy and precedent-setting litigation victories in areas including employment, prison conditions, education, immigration, and healthcare.

  • Beyond political advocacy and litigation, Transgender Law Center pursues liberation for trans and gender non-conforming people through multiple groundbreaking projects -- all centering racial justice in trans liberation -- one of which is their pro bono legal support of Black and brown trans migrants.

Respond is grateful to have been able to support TLC’s incredible work with translation of over 60 pages of newspaper articles, police records, and medical records for an asylum case -- thank you to all of the translators and project managers who were involved in this effort! Respond is honored to partner with TLC!
