Respond Translators Support Workers Building Policy Brief for NYC Mayoral Candidates

Respond’s Language Quality Lead and Spanish interpreter Romina Galloso Sabat provided 2 hours of live simultaneous English/Spanish interpretation for a worker roundtable hosted by Next100.

The roundtable was held with 5-6 immigrant workers and centered around their suggestions for what the next New York City mayoral administration should do related to worker rights, protection from wage theft, and workforce development.

Next100 and The Century Foundation hosted the roundtable to inform a policy brief for mayoral candidates.
