Arabic Team Project Manager

Eyas Youssef used to navigate ships, now he navigates languages! He has a marine engineering background but has been working as a translator, interpreter, and Arabic teacher for non-native speakers for more than 5 years.

Passionate about languages and how they convey culture and history, Eyas has worked as a translator and interpreter for refugees, trauma survivors, and other marginalized groups where being passionate and aware of trauma-informed care and cultural sensitivity are crucial. Moreover, his work as a Trauma Recovery Yoga teacher training co-facilitator has contributed to his trauma-informed lens.

Eyas speaks Arabic and English and is slowly learning Spanish as well.
